Our information on host projects is updated all the time.

Profiles show the date the host projects last logged into the site, so you can see that they are active users.
Host projects that don't actively use the site or who don't respond to volunteers' messages are removed when necessary.

Volunteer opportunities listed on other websites are often no longer contactable, because the information is not updated.

SE7EN gives you high quality information and a proper service.

Who can be a SE7EN volunteer?

'SE7EN volunteers' are people who want to contribute to environmental sustainability and / or social justice, in their own communities or around the world. (See the sample volunteer profiles above.)

You can contact these host projects directly and make your own arrangements with them
Host projects who need your skills or enthusiasm can contact you
New! You can get involved in our discussion forums with other users.
You can contact other volunteers who share your ideals, in your country or around the world (coming soon!)

How does this type of volunteering work?

Volunteers usually pay their own transport costs to get to the host project.
Host projects often provide some food and accommodation in exchange for volunteer help.
Some host projects offer an entirely free exchange; others make a small charge to help cover their costs.

an online volunteer profile;
access to our list of hundreds of free and low-cost volunteering opportunities;
unlimited use of our private messaging facility for one year to contact as many host projects as you like!

One year's membership of SE7EN costs €10.
If you genuinely cannot afford this fee, we may consider a request for free membership. Just ask.
